The Toshiba L755-S52XX series is a very good upper end, entry level laptop family. Probably not for "gamers" but you shouldn't expect that level of video performance for the price. I ordered this model from Amazon, then cancelled because of the constantly changing shipping estimate. I bought a L755-S5214 elsewhere. Same everything except only 500gb harddrive. The machine has more than met my expectations. Great for web surfing, photo and video viewing and document making. I've had no problem staying conneted using a Verizon b/g wireless router and for extended range I hook up to a wired LAN connection. Stepping up from windows XP to Win 7 was easy and the benefits in Win 7 are amazing combined with the I3 processor. All in all a great buy. Just hope it lasts long enough to become obsolete like my previous Dell.
Also, battery life is good with the standard six cell battery. And it runs cool and quietly.
